DESCRIPTION
The SRM Origin PowerMeter, named for having all components designed by SRM - the original PowerMeter, is our first modular-concept PowerMeter offering limitless compatibility. Interchangeable spindles, adjustable crank arm length, flexible chainring combinations, rechargeable battery option.
The 9th generation SRM power meter uses a combination of angle and torque measurement. So it is has now a higher accuracy at a low cadence, also the usage of oval chain rings (Q-rings) is possible. Finally the cadence magnet is not necessary any more and pedal smoothness and L/R data are shown.
Another upgrade is that the Gen9 power meter of SRM now also has Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth Smart) and so the usage of additional bike computers and Smartphone Apps is possible.
